  • Breaking A String At An Acoustic Gig

What do you do? Take a break, play music, tell jokes?

I always have a extra with electrics, but acoustic, it's one guitar. I take the time with no MP3 music. I'm fast

    Play w/o using that string.
The ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, sometimes called the first libertarian thinker, said, "The more artificial taboos and restrictions there are in the world, the more the people are impoverished. ... The more that laws and regulations are given prominence, the more thieves and robbers there will be."

it does not take long to replace a string and retune the guitar - especially if you are prepared (strings, winder and peg remover immediately at hand)

you can't control the wind but you can learn to sail

                    contentment is true wealth
