  • My outside door handle on my truck broke this morning.

It's been trying to break for about a year now; finally went in the cold cold morning moments. I had to go in from the passenger side & open it from the inside.

The part is around $42, shipped; replacement doesn't look too difficult.

It's the first thing that has broken on the Tacoma. I have around 97K miles on it; bought it new in '04.

      Recieved, my friend.

I bought the Toyota for the reliability; so far it's been very good. Door handles are a high-wear item; you'd think they'd be made out of something stronger.

Many of the cars I've owned have had door handle problems due to cheap materials being used.
