  • Well, that Prozac stuff was a fail.

Tried that & a few others; none worked & all had bad side-effects.

I'd rather be a tad grumpy at times than deal w/ those side-effects.

No moar anti-depressants for this little piggy.

You're and older guy, you're supposed to be a bit grumpy

I'm a pretty happy guy mostly; I try to choose a positive attitude each day. My mind tends to go to dark places, but I usually am aware of this & can fix it before I go full black.

Getting off the stuff was a little rough. Can't say I wasn't warned, though.

I took Zoloft for a short while about 15 years ago...it was desperately needed at the time, and despite the side effects it was very helpful...might have even saved my life...but there quickly came a time when I felt like it was less needed and I haven't used a chemical antidepressant since 1998.  Not that I haven't felt some depression on occasion, but I have found other coping mechanisms that work very well for me.  I hope you can find some that work for you...I firmly believe that most of us can medicate much more effectively with fresh air, adrenaline and endorphines.

    Thanks, and rock on!
