  • History of the Eagles - any one see it?

It was on showtime over the weekend,

i did have to learn tequila sunrise for my new band, so there is some interest on my part. not a big fan today, but back in the 70's you couldn't get away from them.

two parts, each one about 11 hours long.  I saw most of the first, and they pretty much covered everything i wanted to know.   as i suspected, they were all douche bags except for joe walsh.

I think a lot of the Eagles' problem had to do with cocaine. It tends to accelerate douchebaggery and perfectionism. For a while, anyway.

I did like the first couple albums though. "Cripple Creek" still raises the hair on the back of my neck.

Most musicians I know are douch bags. We all carry egos and baggage.
