Roommate is a trained former professional chef. The theme for toight's dinner was duck.
Appetizer was duck rillette. Crostini, duck rillette, reconstituted golden raisins and cassis.
Next course was duck breast with potatoes and spinach.
Next was confit du canard with lentils.
Last course was sald with smoked duck breast.
Accompanying all courses was Oregon Pinot Noir.
Finally, a chocolate cake with raspberry jam and whipped cream. Some of us opted for a bit of bourbon.
A good time was had by all.
