    They canned the guy and closed ranks. Couple admos resigned. Typical damage control. Same thing with Washington. Take care of yourself, hide the evidence.

        The internal investigation mentioned in the CNN report found multiple failures, "insufficient management controls, poor computer software design and human factors." There were probably any number of problems and the guy made a convenient scapegoat.

          Let's hope there aren't as many failed processes if you had to launch a missile.

              The fact that they are changing protocols so that it takes 2 people to do what that guy did shows that it was a dumb system.
