  • Hey keyboard doods. Amp suggestions needed.

My GF played piano but hasn't had one for a few years. I gave her my Ensoniq ESQ1, and since I knew not to use a tube
amp, I took my SWR LA15 to use for now since I can't play my fretless bass until my fingertips are healed.
What would be a good keyboard amp that I could get for under $200 used?
I am partial to Roland stuff, but don't ever shop for keyboard amps.

Perhaps a used active sr cab and a small mixer?

Roland will be fine on that budget

They make a 50 watter and many more with more power. They are more than you want to spend new, so you'll have to shop used.

Other than that if you have more coin Aspen Pittman. It will blow your mind.

The Roland CM cube might work for ya too, but they are small.

I like Roland stuff, I bought a Cube 20 for my son and it sounded really nice.
So did the Micro Cube I bought for my other son.
But Peavey's look like more bang for the buck, what do you hear?

ESQ1 would sound fine played through a small full range stereo PA , unless you desire only a 1 piece combo..Roland good. I keep passing up an ESQ1 when I see them for sale even though I tell mys elf I will purchase the next one I see for sale. I use a freebie VST instrument based on Ensoniq's SQ80...

Might be, I didn't hear nuttin, but I'm not a Peavey guy.

The Micro Cube has been around a really long time, but I have a Yamaha THR classic that I use on a regular basis around the house.

Look around and see what's in the area.
