It was like 4 degree this morning when I let the house. At least we are in to the positive numbers.

There's no sign of warmer weather coming either.

      -9 on Saturday.
Both my kitties have a vet apt too on Saturday. That will man warm blankets in there totes.

I guess the east coast will get hit with a Nor'easter, but I'm too far inland to get much.

I get the Albany news and weather, and Glens Falls NY came in at -22 this morning.

We love Christina doing the weather at WTEN, she's so GND.

Anytime a guy can get a lil action on New Years, you know the new year is off to a good start. Then again, maybe it's a down hill slide for here on.

      IDK

The dumb ass kid nextdoor, was told her car battery was weak back in August. I saw her dad dicking around with her car last night.
I asked him if there was something he needed help with. Turns out it so cold here, that Advance Auto Parts stopped install batteries, which was a free service.

I was driving here in town years ago went to stop and slide through the red light and up on the the median strip.

I had a Nissan Xterra Off Road Edition at the time, so there was no damage to the vehicle, but I almost flipped it. I though to myself, maybe this is as far as I want to go today.

Right now there some big 75 car pile up on the thruway in NY state.
I think Lancaster NY is near Buffalo., where a foot of snow and ice is a normal winters day.

Duration of this cold is what is noteworthy.
I must be crazy, I go out back with Michelin Man clothing
                    and stumble on snoeshoes
                    I'm old if I don't flex

it is why you live where you may hang gongs and such
and not freeze yer ass off
I wonder do the brass materials change tone when under zero!
about the 8th longest cold snap here since 1884 or some such nonsense

my guess brittle will become metals used for too cold for to ring out
                        Happy New Year
actually not a song like Happy Birthday
