  • The Mississippi River "URINATES" into the Gulf of Mexico?

Would this be correct to say? I looked up Websters definition, and one 'Urinate' definition is to "Pass Water".

If you walk past a lake, is that urinating?

The liquid in the Gulf of Mexico is barely water, so no.

The Mississippi oozes brown pus into the Gulf of Mesko, and some water gets through.

But it doesn't matter because the Gulf is full of BP oil.
