    Watch and listen to one of my personal favorite guitar players jam with one of the best drummers in the world.

                    I don't get why he mutes the strings. The whole point of a 7-string is so you can get the low end of a low tuned 6 string but keep the high-end of a standard tuned. Might as well just take the highest 3 off

                        He usually dosen't do that. He just did this for this particular jam. This jam was to emphasize the rhythm. He can solo like a mother****************er. He's the guitar player for Meshuggah.

                            I've heard them a few times. Doesn't do much for me, seems like they go into 11/16 time just to make it sound complicated. Maybe I need to hear more
