  • Actual interview of the "good guy with a gun" RE: Texas church shootin

This story is extremely compelling and very clear in its rundown of events. This looks like movie material. Seriously.

Are there any comments from the guy about the possible cause of this tragedy? Several of the competing theories include atheism and domestic violence.

That is not what this video is about.

Then what's your personal theory about the cause of violence in this mass shooting?

Please. No more movies glamorizing gun violence. This is part of the problem IMO.

Glad these guys did what they did and they are heroes, IMO, but the focus should be on preventing such shootings in the first place. Not on civilians hunting them down after the fact.

Both matter. I don't believe there has ever been a movie like this however, at least based on a true story. It sends a very powerful message.

I hate those programs on true crime. They turn someone's personal tragedy into other people's entertainment at a profit.
                I find it absolutely... deplorable.

I'm actually with you on that. Time has to pass. I kinda liked Titanic.

Which very powerful message is that, exactly?

And yes. There has been a gaxillion movies where the good guy with a gun shoots the bad guy with a gun.

BTW. I’m glad this is the “actual” interview. I didn’t realize all those others they have been doing were fake news.

Occasionally man does bite dog, but the reality is that there are far more homicides than self defense shootings.

Hollywood could never keep up with them all.

Thank you so much for posting this video, what a true hero this Christian man is, wow, so humble, and thank God he had the NRA training. For him to shoot between the vest is amazing. This guy saved many lives. What a true American hero, I think he has been forgiven for the cussing, lol. . Thanks again.

Which lives did he save? Where was the guy headed next? Do we know his plan?

guido, are you suggesting the cowardly killer was going to stop of his own volition? of course we don't know what he was going to do, but it's safe to assume he would have continued killing if he hadn't been shot.

I think anything is possible. It's possible the guy planned to get away, become invisible and bask in the news coverage of his evil deed. But I have to think that if he had done that and got away, eventually he would try to do the same thing again.
