  • Trump is yooge in Japan.

    I'm not making this up.
    He really said this. Really.
"Try building your cars in the United States instead of shipping them over. Is that possible to ask? That's not rude. Is that rude? I don't think so," Trump told executives from local automakers during a trip to Japan.
Japanese automakers have tried: The country's big three car companies already have huge factories in the U.S., and their production in the country is at a record high.
The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association estimates that its members built nearly 4 million vehicles in the U.S. last year. Exports from Japan to the U.S. have fallen from 3.5 million cars a year in 1986 to just over 1.5 million in 2016.

Trump is such a &^@#ing idiot. It never ceases to amaze me how little he knows. He may be prepared to run a used car lot but a nation? Hah.
George Washington was the man who never told a lie. Richard Nixon was the man who never told the truth. Donald Trump is the man who doesn't know the difference.
Venezuela is what happens when you have Trump without the Madison.

May I add, his supporters suffer from the same lack of knowledge.
Take the so-called Clinton/uranium deal, for instance...

          I suspect you're right, harry.

I really wish the Trumpsters would comment on this stuff. I realize it’s so indefensible that they can’t try to defend it so they rather just ignore it. But I WOULD like to hear as to why they think it is worth ignoring.

Do they really believe it is so insignificant that a man they elected in part because they believed him to be such a brilliant businessman who understands trade and would negotiate better deals is actually completely clueless about trade policy?

I believe that they don't care one whit about this, guido.
They voted for Trump because he promised to break the system and he's making good on that promise.
If they have to swallow their pride just a bit because the guy is a total buffoon, well, small price to pay.
And the fact that once broken we have nothing to rebuild with hasn't appeared on their horizon yet.
          Are they short-sighted?
          Well, maybe

Are there any Trumpsters still here? There's that TrumpIsGreat noobie, but I'm fairly certain he's just trolling.

Fake news is not worthy of comment...only interesting in the observation of same old suspects here behaving like middle-school girls.

The Washington Post already called bull**it on the OP's little game here.

Not worth playing in the mud with children.

You should move on to the indefensible feeding of fish in a Koi pond by Trump outrage. Same kinda crap story you'd applaud...even if it's fake AGAIN.

Oops. You're right. I should have looked up the whole context, I guess. My bad.

But I suppose it's like the fake news stuff about Obama, Clinton and other Dems that the rightees so willingly eat up. Including the trash Trump spews himself. If it's true enough in spirit, who cares about the details, right?

Explain to me how taking him out of context here is any worse than those who jumped on Obama for saying "you didn't build that!"? And then running with it for YEARS. Even AFTER the context was explained to them in most cases.

I sure hope you weren't one of those people, Sonar....

I'm only responding to your request for comment on this stuff. Still not interested in joining you in the mud.

As for your comparison, here's The Washington Post explaining the problem with Obama's "...you didn't build that" comment. You can continue spinning the "context", but Obama's underlying view remains the same.
