  • So what are your thoughts on David Horsey and his apology for body shaming Sanders? No LA Times editing?

"I want to apologize to Times readers – and to Sarah Huckabee Sanders -- for a description that was insensitive and failed to meet the standards of our newspaper. It also failed to meet the expectations I have for myself. It surely won’t be my last mistake, but this particular error will be scrupulously avoided in my future commentaries. I’ve removed the offending description,” he wrote.
Los Angeles Times political columnist David Horsey body-shamed White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in his latest anti-Trump hit piece, describing her as a “chunky soccer mom.”

    I think;
    1. If he had done that to a dem, you wouldn't give a ****************.
    2. It doesn't matter in any way shape or form.
    3. Your shtick is childish and boring.
Rightly are the simple so called.

      I concur!
In Internet slang, a troll (/troul, trɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion, often for the troll's amusement.

There's no reasoning with a tRump supporter. If there was, there wouldn't be any.

Hmmm... Nothing about the LA Times lack of editing their pieces before they get published, just another lame personal attack from the left, ok....nice

Classless move to write it and print it.
Classy move to apologize for writing/printing it.

Reprehensible as it was, gassing was a conventional and accepted method for execution at the time. It is a stretch to equivocate the two.

The main thing I find distasteful about her looks is the heavy eye makeup. She doesn't seem to do it all the time, which is why the first time she did it, I thought she was hiding a shiner. It may have to do more with the structure of her face, with recessed eyes that appear in shadow.

I do remember the first glimpse I had of her that she didn't fit the Trump Woman Ideal, which matches the same opinion some of our banned members have for women. America is getting fatter and fatter all the time. Sanders could almost be considered average in light of that.

                  Meh - big bones.

However the elf-shaming of Sessions is unforgivable.

                    Trump never would have apologized.

I think it was an unacceptable statement and I’m glad he removed it and apologized.

If you’re going to attack Sanders, do it on the basis of her dishonesty and lack of personal integrity. Not her looks.

Speaking of which, I do find it interesting that the OP thought this warranted discussion when he’s been so eager to ignore similar and worse behavior on the part of his Orange Crush.

While I do think that it was in poor taste to describe her as "chunky", the fact is that is was an accurate description. If someone doesn't want to be referred to as "fat", "husky", "chunky", "plus" size, or any other descriptions that they feel are body shaming, put down the fork.

A Trump fan is outraged that a woman was publicly body-shamed?

You can’t make this stuff up.

I would prefer to see her described as ‘Nazi apologist,’ ‘racist mouthpiece’ or simply ‘liar.’
