Who cares? Are you just waiting with baited breath? I am hoping the senator had a shotgun on his kitchen table.

I still have one or two of those ditties you used to write about other forum members. I can try to post ‘em here to remind you of when you were actually funny.

So your LOL was disingenuous? I will keep that in mind next time you post it.

Kentucky State Police have arrested the senator’s assailant, identified as Rene Boucher, 59, of Bowling Green for intentionally assaulting Paul at his home, causing minor injury, local law-enforcement officials confirmed to Fox News.
Boucher was arrested and charged with one count of 4th degree assault – minor injury. He was taken to the nearby Warren County Detention Center where he is being held on $5,000 bail.

A second neighbor told local news station WNKY said that the Senator was mowing his lawn around 3 p.m. on Friday when Boucher assaulted him. The neighbor also confirmed that the two share a corner adjacent to their homes and have been embroiled in an ongoing feud.

The paper reported this morning that Paul has five broken ribs. That doesn't sound like a "minor injury". I guess Kentucky alphas are tuff.

“Blindsided.” Otherwise, I’m sure he could have taken him. Or at least not been so “mildly injured.”

              Partisan much?

It's pretty easy to sneak up behind someone who is mowing a lawn. It's kind of hard to hear someone behind you when you have a 90 dB noise source right in front of you and you're concentrating on what you're doing.

But take your cheap shots at the libertarian Republican if it makes you feel better.

I'd agree, that is the coward's way. Trying to deck a U.S. Senator is not the smartest move.

OTOH, if you want to deck a US Senator, Rand Paul is a fine choice.

You're coming WAY too close to the line in terms of endorsing violence. There won't be another warning if you go there again.

Well, yes, and then no. Paul is one "Republican" who openly opposes a tax cut that will balloon the debt and deficits.

He is correct, Senator Paul is apposed to Trump's current tax plan cuts.

A stopped clock...He also voted against repeal and replace because the GOP alternative didn’t screw over enough poor people. I’m sure his objection to the tax plan is that it’s not Draconian enough.

For sure. His objection to the tax scheme is that it doesn't have cuts to Social Security, Medicare, or anything else that might help poor or middle class people. I think he's also said that the tax cut doesn't help middle income folks in favor of the rich. He's a mixed bag, and one of those supporters of an "ism" that advocates its own tenets over common sense. Following a course set out in a manifesto, whether it's communist, socialist, capitalist, libertarian, or any other such is a denial of reality over the "ism".

Thank God Almighty that the American people will foot the bill for Senator Paul's injury.

Where's Senator Paul's tough talk about small government now .... Maybe, the Dems should deny his health care coverage too ....

I agree that politicians should be held accountable for their actions, but this was over the line.

For the record, I think Paul Rand is a d-bag.

This is how it's done! You expressed your POV on the political positions of the assault victim without condoning the violence. Well done erok!
