    Compared to who?

Does anyone here ever get tired of hearing the old phrase? If, as Americans, why are we all so fat if we work so hard?

It's the result of hard work.

I'm 5"9", 170 Lbs, can still do 15 pull-ups, countless sit-ups, about 50 push-ups and bar dips, stay pretty active on about 2000 calories intake per day and my normal blood pressure in 120/70 with an unremarkable cholesterol count. My belt line is 32" and I'm 62 years old. Who are you calling fat? You must mean my beer swilling, swollen belly, I can't help myself it tastes so good brethren and their prodigy. Both my sons make Adonis look like the water boy. This household does not contribute to the America depicted in the cartoon movie The Triplets of Belleville.

I struggle with this darn belly fat, not obese but just too much fat. I have tried many things, including dieting, fasting, exercising eating no fast foods. I just can't shake this 20 extra pounds.
Have you kept any promises lately like our great POTUS has? He puts YOU first.

It's not very original...I would have thought you could come up with something better.

That's a bit catchier...maybe you should license and market it...it would be a huge hit with other SEC teams.

Most Americans eat too much. The whole food triangle and servings per day and three square meals a day crap did not help either. Bildette is 60 and I am two years behind. If we go out to dinner. We split a meal and sometimes we even take some home. Most functions in America revolve around eating too. Just too much food everywhere. After my double hernia surgery that did not go well. I had to cut back due to not being active as I was. I am past that now and put in an average of 300 hours on my bicycle each year again. Back to my 5'6" 140 lb ideal weight. It is all about restraining yourself.

So now the phrase "hard working" is a problem? Really?

"And what's the deal with airline food.......?"
