  • OT: NPD!!!

Last weekend we switched cell providers and along with that came new phones. My daughter got an iPhone 8+, my wife got the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and I got the Samsung Galaxy 8+...I had the Galaxy 6 so the layout was very familiar. Just gotta say that I love the big screen on this phone...it's great for watching videos and such, battery life is amazing! I really like Bixby and I believe there are more edge panels with this phone. Overall a very nice phone!

Still using my company-provided Galaxy S6 and still liking it. I don't have the eyesight to use it for anything more than reading emails, taking calls, and browsing the Internet from time to time, but I did film my last several music videos with it and found the camera to be excellent.
Hoping that the company upgrades to the latest greatest sometime soon.

Reprehensible as it was, gassing was a conventional and accepted method for execution at the time. It is a stretch to equivocate the two.

I had my S6 for two years...never had a problem with it, I thought it was a great phone. That's why I went with the S8+...my eyes love the large screen!

How do you like the Note 8? I'm still using a Note 4, and it's nearing the end of its useful life.....

Just bought me a new hi tech phone from a guy on Craigslist. I'm going down tomorrow to get the service. BTW, anybody know to text on it? The guy said I could. I have to find the manual so I can find out how to take pictures and videos too.

My wife loves it...basically the only difference in that and the Galaxy 8+ is the camera and little pen thing.

                  HNPD!

I'm still using an original iPhone 5. I replaced the battery a few months ago, and outside of that, it's been a great phone - super reliable... but it's pretty old now, so it's probably getting time to think about a new phone, and maybe even another laptop...

Still using my 5 from several years ago. I can only hear sounds on speaker which can cause problems in public places but other than that it's still ticking away.

Considering how expensive they are now, and the fact that the phone company doesn't offer any deals on them ($200 plus a 2 year commitment or whatever...) it makes people more likely to want to hang on to them for as long as they can - at least as long as they're still working well and remain generally functional and powerful enough to run whatever apps are important to them.

If you like your iPhone 5 footprint, you'll like the SE. A couple nice features besides being much faster, pick up to wake and press home to unlock using fingerprint sensor. Probably boots in half the time - it has 6S hardware.
