What's fair is fair. If a private server was no big deal when Hillary (and Colin and Condelessa) did it, it's only fair that's it's no big deal when Jarad does it!

Except that there are apparently many on the WH staff who would like nothing better than to have Kushie and 'vanki disgraced and sent packing.

Activities here have been temporarily disabled since the fundamentals of mathematics, physics and reason may be incomprehensible during this indeterminate period of instability. Normal service will be restored once we are certain as to what 'normal' is."

If it is, it will be unjustified, unless:

        1) Emails containing state secrets were sent, received, and/or forwarded.

        2) The private email server was kept in a private residence closet, and not actively monitored for hacking activity.

        3) The server was maintained by a contractor who did not have appropriate security clearance and/or sufficient training to appropriately harden the server against cyber attacks.

If Jared's email situation mimics HRC's, he should be strung up by his Buster Browns. But he's not SecState, so it's gonna be a stretch. It's unlikely he was privy to emails containing intelligence op info.

Current global warming temperature trend: 0.05ºC per decade, plus or minus 0.1ºC (source: UN IPCC AR5) ...Yes, the error rate is higher than the estimated rate of change.

The growing evidence that climate models are too sensitive to CO2 has implications for the attribution of late-20th-century warming and projections of 21st-century climate. If the recent warming hiatus is caused by natural variability, then this raises the question as to what extent the warming between 1975 and 2000 can also be explained by natural climate variability." --Dr. Judith Curry, chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology

Do we need to measure how far you're moving goal posts, or should we just say their still in the ballpark?

Moving goalposts? Nah. You're the one who is deciding whether him sending classified material from a private server is a bad thing or not depending on where he located it.

Let's save the hypocrisy claims for when the facts are apparent. If what Jared did rises to the stupidity of what HRC did, that will be the time to discuss hypocrisy.

I'm sure he is privy to classified info, given that he has a security clearance.

List of Jared Kushner's jobs at the White House.
7 jobs Jared Kushner is now doing for the United States of America
                          1. Jared Kushner is responsible for negotiating peace in the Middle East.

                          3. Jared Kushner is responsible for diplomacy with Mexico.

                          4. Jared Kushner is responsible for diplomacy with China.

Those all seem like areas which could easily require the discussion of classified information.

You may be right, but he's probably not privy to operational intelligence as the Secretary of State would be. We'll see.

Let's put it this way: If they are both guilty of the same mishandling of classified info, would you want to see both Kushner and HRC prosecuted the same way?

You have my solemn word that if Jared is investigated as thoroughly as Clinton, and law enforcemnet reaches similar conclusions regarding the questions of possible illegal activities and/security breaches, that I will accept that result and not continue to harp endlessly on about an imagined narrative.

It's blatant hypocrisy given the big furor over HRC's private server. He shoulda known right away someone would notice. He did it anyway.
The real hypocrisy is that no lessons were learned. Private servers are still being used, quite possibly because what gov't supplies is dinosaur era. In the mean time Russia, N. Korea, China and any other country can probably dig into our dirty laundry with ease.
The HRC thang was political theater. Nothing more and nothing less.
