why couldn't she have just been happy with a normal job for anyone with a music degree, like waiting tables or working at a call center?

With a background in Music Composition, how'd she get a job as Chief Security Officer?

Worked her way up through the company, I guess. Wrote her own tune?

She has no qualifications relevant to security or tech.

But she should be able to write a great little ditty about this whole thing when it's all said and done.

Reprehensible as it was, gassing was a conventional and accepted method for execution at the time. It is a stretch to equivocate the two.

I don't know about that. That would signify an understanding of the need for security measures.

Apparently in addition to the use of "ADMIN" as passwords numerous employees had their passwords stored on the front end and therefore visible by simply right clicking on the website to view the source code.

This company and she also seem entirely naive and incompetent as regards protecting any information they possess.

                Yes, she's not completely useless.

Classic example of rising up the ladder because of the social/political game, not qualifications.

I'm sensing a Broadway musical in the works

How is it exactly you know this? Do you know her entire resume / work history?

How, exactly do you know this? Do you know the history of each of her promotions / job changes?

I take it you haven't been following this story? Her lack of qualifications is a major topic.

I'm sure you'll be happy to learn she's being allowed to retire, most likely with a nice big golden parachute.

Maybe she gave some after hours flute lessons to her supervisor(s)
                            i like palin.
i think she would rattle some cages and that's what america needs.
