I agree if true, seems a bit suspicious that there is no video with kids videoing everything these days though.

I agree with the teacher. F him. The country he hates so much is enabling him to live like a prince compared to other sheet holes in the world.

He can go live in Somalia if he thinks its so bad here.

When he graduates tax payer funded public school and earns his own way...then he can protest stupidly.

Shockingly, nede thinks it's just peachy for a government employee to rough up a citizen for expressing an opinion he disagrees with.

And by "shockingly", I mean "not at all shocked".

Horse feces, it's never acceptable to lay your hands on someone because you disagree with their views period.

Using your thinking antifa is justified using violence against peaceful but repugnant protests. That okay with you too?

She'll probably end up being Devos's replacement.

Why are you disrespecting our brave men and women of our military who died for that kid's right to sit during the pledge?

When I was in 5th grade ('65") there was a girl in my class that was a Jehovah's Witness who would sit silently while the class recited the poem "The Pledge of Allegiance" but then at that time it had only been recited in our public schools for about 10 years.

The "under God" bit was about 10 years old then. I believe schools had been reciting it without those words for a decade or so before that.

My mom graduated high school a year early in 1949, and she said they never recited it in school, some schools around the country did. The required reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance in our schools and adding "In God We Trust" to our money was enacted during the Red scare of the 50's.

My mom graduated in 1954 and says they recited it without the "under God" but, which I believe was added in 56. "in God we trust" came up around the same time. You're right. The Red Scare.

I guess lots of people are still scared.

So, to paraphrase, "send him back to Africa"?
