Adopting is good. There will always be plenty of children already here that need good homes.

Uh, it's the high enough doses part that is the concern. The earth is getting warmer.

Yes, but that is where a lot of junk science is being thrown about. I've already argued the point ad-nausium on this site, so no reason to do it here other than to ask lurkers (assuming there are any) to look up the earth's CO2 level history and contemporaneous temperature shifts.

I'm curious if the people who are having the most kids are also the same people who don't believe in climate change?

Interesting that they tell people from the developed world to have less kids in order to save the planet, then say we need more workers so open up the flood gates of mass third world immigration. Strange how that works.

8 kids, and not convinced what we do really has any effect on climate change.

I think it is all a plot for governments, and people who have power to have more control over the masses, nothing more.

I am also convinced there were dinosaurs on the ark...As long as I am in the minority, I have nothing to lose here at HC.

So, do you believe in man made climate change?

You know LARRY, I used to believe Noah's Ark was just a myth and that dinosaurs went extinct tens of millions of years ago. But after reading, and rereading, your controversial claims( and the many links to sound scientific evidence to back them up) over the years, I can say that you have thoroughly convinced me otherwise.

I am convinced that the dinosaurs were used as slave labor to help build the ark and then laughed at by Noah and the kids as they sailed off without them.

The emperor marched in the procession under the beautiful canopy, and all who saw him in the street and out of the windows exclaimed: Indeed, the emperor's new suit is incomparable! What a long train he has! How well it fits him! Nobody wished to let others know he saw nothing, for then he would have been unfit for his office or too stupid. Never an emperor's clothes were more admired.

The converse of this thread is that planting more trees - particularly evergreens - wpuld have a great positive impact on global CO2 levels.

I am far more worried about deforestation in the Amazon basin and the expansion of African deserts than about global population growth wrt greenhouse gas levels.
