But if all opposing views voluntarily stop, it will have no choice but to become the leftist circle-jerk you perceive it to be.

There is no question that the preponderance of posts here have a left bias, but the fact remains that the banned are such as a result of their own stupid remarks --not because those on the left are smarter as much as that some people don't know when to quit. Which in a perverse sense means some are 'smarter' than others.

On the other hand, it could be said that leaving this particular cesspool can ALWAYS be considered to be 'for good', regardless of one's political persuasion.

I'll drink to that. I'm even cracking open a fresh bottle. Happy trails!

Where do all the tRumpsters go when they leave here? Leaving a sinking ship syndrome?

Can't say I blame 'em. If I had voted for tRump, I'd be ashamed to show my face in public too.
            Adios!

its interesting that some people can't have their opinions challenged, and are more interested in having their biases confirmed rather than examined.

come on back when and if that ever changes

What I've seen is blatant racism, personal attacks and failure to provide links. The last one is becoming more and more common. It doesn't matter what 'side' someone's on. do this = ban

Who's been bant for 'trolling?' How common is it? I can recall recent threads started by Davo AND DF closed because because they were troll threads. He wasn't bant for the thread/s. IIRC he's currently bant for something else entirely.

Really? I'm a pretty solid conservative, yet I have never been banned (at least not yet). That said, I am also not a Trump supporter, as I don't buy into his nationalist, xenophobic claptrap.

Keep it civil and fact-based, and let the other guys lose control and go over the top. Yes, it can be done.....just ask the Badger....

                        Hee-hee.

You elect a complete fraud following the Tea Freak debacle, then you are burdened by the outrage on this forum, then you get upset because new forum rules limit your vile responses, so you quit.

Maybe they have a forum at Rob's Conservative Treehouse (up with the monkeys).

George Washington was the man who never told a lie. Richard Nixon was the man who never told the truth. Donald Trump is the man who doesn't know the difference.
Venezuela is what happens when you have Trump without the Madison.
