No More Portyanki
If you thought we were in trouble before, just wait until you see what they have in store for Obama and his troops:
Instead of wrapping traditional pieces of cloth arond their feet when wearing boots, soldiers of the Russian military have made the transition to socks, according to NBC News.
Footwraps, called "portyanki" in Russian, are rectangular pieces of cloth that are worn by soldiers, wrapped around the feet to avoid chafing, absorb sweat and improve the fit.
This is part of ongoing Russian military reform.
I hope they can't smell fear.
I dont want to smell their portyanki.
