      Intro paragraph.... The Soviet Union was dissolved some time ago. So to blame the 'misperceptions' about US gun violence on Soviet propaganda only makes you look foolish. Furthermore, for someone crafting an attempt at a scholarly document to use that as his opening salvo is preposterous.

    firearms and very few murders involve them.5

      we already know banning  guns dont reduce crime.

       

      we also know most gun related deaths are suicides.

       

      of the studies and data that has looked...there is no link beween banning guns and lowering suicide rates.  what they founf was that people are more likely to use other means of suicide.
