        They do some good charity work, but are essentially a social club for adult men.  You pay dues, go to meetings, make friends, raise money for the needy, recruit new members, have picnics, dances(music usually pre-1970), and drink.  I was recruited/invited but I already had a full schedule.  Also, they won't teach you anything about bricklaying.  Your choice, not mine.  Good luck!
