There should be concern about everyone who has them, but you're left with the fact that we don't want Iran to have them because we think they're a bunch of crazy Muslims and not to be trusted. We don't SAY that in diplomatic circles, but that's the reason, and they know it.

        From the linked article...

The U.S. and its allies worry that technology from the space program could also be used to develop long-range missiles that could potentially be armed with nuclear warheads.

We have a nation of outright idiots.

No one seems to have blinked an eye at the fact that the U.S. has allowed the 1st of 20, F-16's to be delivered to Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood & islamic government, now "running" Egypt. Egypt is in total kaos. led by people who hate America & we're proceeding to arm them. Nothing to worry about there.

Not to worry, we are shortly going to have Chuck Hagel as Defense Secretary, who wants to downsize the military, and like obama, does not favor any military intervention in any foreign matters & in the past has spoken directly in favor of seeking to reduce the U.S. Nuclear Arsenal. As all the haters of America increase their  power & military capabilities, these really aren't thing we should worry about.

What we should be worrying about is concentrating on our ability to adapt to the Muslim culture.

Yes. I'm also concerned that Israel has them. Terrorist states shouldn't have nukes.

there is nothing in iran's past that would indicate that they would use NW's if they had them, but I can imagine why they would want them. israel would be hard pressed to attack them if they were able to defend themselves.

we feel it is our right to defend ourselves, why shouldnt'  the government of iran have them if they want them? who are we to dictate who can defend themselves and who cant?

Personally, I'm more than a little bit concerned about anybody - including my own country - having a nuclear capability.

Question: Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?

          Answer: because it was dead.
