  • What a contrast!

Three thousand people died on 9/11 and Bush and Cheney were questioned in a closed session.
Four people died in Benghazi and Hillary Clinton was questioned in public.
Does anybody besides me think this is wrong?

    That happens for two reasons:
Democrats have nothing to hide, 'cept maybe the occasional girlfriend
Democrats refuse to hold GOP accountable for their very real global crimes.

I can't recall many people being very happy with how secretive everything was with 911. There has been a ****************load of backlash against Bush for that, from both sides of the aisle, which is one of many reasons Bush left office with the lowest approval rating in the history of approval ratings.

Now where is this bi-partisan backlash against benghazi? Clinton gets up there and says "what difference does it make?" and the democrats are silent.

    Quite the contrast, indeed.

Anyone who asked any questions of Bushco was accused of beng a traitor and appeasing terrorists. Quite a contrast, yes. Bush had the lowest approval ratings because he lied the country into a war and mishandled pretty much everything there was to mishandle.

Benghazi is just a mirage. There is no coverup. Period. It's just another rightwing fishing expedition and the only thing biting is the typical fox new droolers.

Context is everything:  Anyone can cherry pick a single sentence and use it against someone...

"Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk last night who decided to kill some Americans? What difference at this point does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator."

Oy, the bloody morons.  Bush and Cheney didn't have anything to do with 9/11.  Everybody saw what happened, it happend on live TV.  What would you question B & C about wrt 9/11?  Probably the foam-at-the-mouthers conflating 9/11 with Iraq and WMD and all that.

Behghazi, on the other hand - the administration made up a very deliberate lie to tell the American people.  Why?  It's legitimate for us to want to know.

Jr Bushes inaction pretty much had something to do with 9/11. In fact, Cheney was in the house when Clinton was in. He and quite a few others denied Clinton funding to go after OBL. Then when Clinton left, he warned jr of OBL but jr blew him off. Then there were reports of OBL and jr bush blew THAT off too! As to Iraq....  both Cheney and jr should have had their asses hauled before a very public toasting.

Now this ^ bears some serious looking at. How many times have we heard the words "real liberty" with anything the repugs want? Second amendment, free market, capitalism, and stuff in regards to global climate. Funny how they use the words ';real liberty' to prevent progress.

I am all for complete disclosure.  First, Benghazi, then the run up to Bush II Fraud War in Iraq.

And as far as 9/11 goes, there's only a tight circle of people in the world who know 100% of the events of that day, and that doesn't include anybody posting here.  Statistically, the chances of a massive inter-departmental brainfart happening on the same day of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history are not particularly great.  Is it possible?  Yes.  Is it probable?  Hmmm....
