  • O.T. What Is More Important; A Large Income Or A Lifetime Love?

Been going through some of life's teachings lately. What is most important toy you? A big income (AKA success) or a lifetime love of a person/spouse?

    I'd settle for either.  :smileyembarrassed:

Door number two by far. No layoffs with a lifetime love. What up, Quickie? Can you expand on why you asked that or you'd rather not air the details here?

Just wondering out loud. I have recently had probably the most honest discussions with my ex that I have in years. Lots of truth and pain/forgiving on both sides.

I honestly believe that I am a better man from having been with her and I am just trying to understand some things.

Lifetime love.  No question about it.

Question: Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?

        Answer: because it was dead.

If I said I had both would I be a douche?

          I'd rather the lifetime love.

        thinking along the same lines:

if you had to choose between being content and being happy, which one would you choose?

you can't control the wind but you can learn to sail

        contentment is true wealth

Not so sure you can have one without the other to some degree. There's a blend there.

As long as the spouse was able to make money, too, the spouse.

When you are about to die what will be more important to you?

Will it be better to say "I am okay with my life because I had lots of money" or "I am okay with my life because I got to experience Love?"

Health because without it you can't enjoy either one.

Fall not in love, lest it stick to your face.

I've had money and no love, but now I have love and less money. I would say I'm happier now.
