  • Obama admits inflation is a serious problem

Well, sorta... A minimum wage increase is an admission that prices are hurting the poor the most.

Helpful, Harmful, or Hype? 5 Economists Weigh in on Obama's Minimum Wage Proposal

Obviously, I don't believe in a minimum wage, but I also think that the Federal Reserve should be abolished.

In the absence of a devalued fiat currency, a mandated minimum wage would definitely kill jobs. Since wages are stagnant, minimum wage increases do not have the disastrous effect that the Fox News crowd is shrieking about.

Fewer people owned their home in full during the housing boom. Proof that it was a scam to create debt and inflate housing prices. Good if you're a banker or real estate agent, bad if you're a middle class American.

Minimum wage would be more than enough if rent wasn't inflated and healthcare was affordable.

If we were on a gold standard, how would minimum wage kill jobs?

Would it be a fixed or open gold standard?
