Too bad so many of those things were abused.  They could likely still be good ideas.

Phil SaidIf you possess the superior intellect, then it should be no problem for you to point out the logical fallacies and other problems of their position or post without having to debase yourself by resorting to ad hominem attacks.

Then maybe try to support them and strengthen them rather than just opposing them out-right at all costs...

        ...just a thought....

LIberals are so self centered that they dont see any abuse when they are the ones doing it.

          Yeah. Nice thought.

Typical conservative attitude. Nothing but criticism. No positive suggestions. No solutions. Nothing but empty rhetoric. 50+ years of nothing to offer except going backwards. Great plan.

The right wing still hates the civil rights movement.

You've heard my suggestions 36,000 times.

They are the same. Quit making excuses for people and expect them to step up. Honestly, most of them will.

Nobody is making excuses for anyone. Just tired of the Republicans blaming everyone else for everything all the time. The Party of Personal Responsibility is anything but

The big problem with LBJs great society is that it created three generations of welfare families.  Nothing was really asked or expected of them other than to vote for democrats.    The taxpayers paid them to breed three generations  born again democrats.

Blame blame blame. Blame liberals. Blame LBJ. Blame Obama. Blame minorities. Blame poor people. Take no responsibility for anything. Offer no plans to move anyone or the country forward.

The difference between the Republicans of 1956 and 2013 is stark and astounding.

It is sad they do not take responsibility for their own shortcomings. A human foible obviously.

I have the solution. Get the **************** out of bed and find something productive to do.

              Stop waiting on handouts.

1956 is definitely my Father's Republican party. They even had Ike for a candidate! He'd be rolling over in his grave with today's Republican party. (Might even change party because of the Tea Party.)

Lots of problems stated here, and probably none solve until today.

I would have moved to the Bahamas in 1957.
