Members LordBTY
Hey guys, I've recently signed up to CDbaby after searching for a way to get my band on spotify. CDbaby was unclear about payment until the very last minute - up until then it seemed like they would just take a cut and I was pretty happy about this. However, seeing as there are many services, which one is the best one? Tom EDIT: Also, I'm British - if that's of any relevance.
Members Poker99
Just a question... Why do you want to get your band on Spotify?
Members LordBTY
The same reason I want them on myspace - promotion.
Members Poker99
People won't listen to bands they don't know on Spotify. They won't look for them either. Just my opinion... Other than CDBaby, maybe you can look at Tunecore?

Members theboywho
Try Recordunion.com The only charge £10 for the UPC, then after that it is all a small fee and a cut taken from what you earn, so nothing to pay outright.
Members creakinjohnmoon
You need to promote yourself by all channels available. I used ditto to distribute my music to Spotify, itunes etc. Just found someone in these forums who was searching for BRMC Howl and came across my EP called Raisin' Such A Howl! EP on Spotify. They gave me a good review here... so it's worth investing to get your music out there. It only cost £22, so not that much at all!
