Members DeepEnd
Listened to the first two tracks. More Country Western than modern Country. Good stuff but the songwriter wannabe in me wishes there were lyrics/vocals. The arrangements are better when it's more minimal; you don't need keys for most of it. The fewer instruments the better. Keep up the good work.
Members TTCD
You are perceptive. This is "western" music, not country. As for lyrics/vocals, I hear that occasionally, but it's not meant to be. This is picture painting, not songwriting. To that end, this album has now made it to radio in 9 countries/8 states (in one form or another). I believe this is directly attributable to it being instrumental. As for piano, that's only on two songs. I agree with you re keeping it spare. Thanks for the compliments.
