Sadly, your Mom sat in front of a bunch of guys using the Molly Hatchett name..No original members in that group.
Danny is Dead,Jimmy is still playing with the Southern Rock allstars I think..Those fellas should do what the Skynard Boys did and just call it a Tribute Band..I Know, and have worked with those guys for years,Even got offered a gig playing with Danny and Riff West in the 80's after Dave H. was busted shoplifting(Bad Coke Habit) in a Truck stop..WE all fondly refer to the Current Molly as The Molly Hatchett Job..Keith

I sat a couple of rows behind Jimmy Page on a flight to UK from New York once.

Playing at the rock venue during my college years, my mom and younger brother were sitting up in the balcony. Five long-haired dudes in leather & chains sat down right next to Mom. They were whoopin' it up and having a good time.

I went up to say hi during the break. The leather-clad dudes all came over to say they were enjoying the show. They were going to play there the next night. Real nice guys.

Band called Kix. (BTW, Kix kills.)
