So...I've always been interested in music videos and making movies, so this summer I decided to make a music video for one of our songs. This was an experiment and we shot it on a HI-8 camcorder, so the resolution is low, but it was super fun and super instructive in terms of coordinating a cast, creating props and a shot list, and shooting scenes out of sequence in order to get all the filming wrapped up quickly. We shot all the video in about 4 hours on a Saturday morning. In other news, got a new full-time job a couple of months ago (which led to the precipitous decline in posts) and a new bassist, and we have a new album coming out next month! And I'm planning on filming a new music video for the new album either this weekend or next weekend, which will be shot with a smart phone and should be much higher in quality.
