As I've mentioned in a couple of other posts, our local fishbowl seems to be drying up. There seem to be more bands than venues that have live music.So, I'm looking for some new MD/DE/VA venues on the Eastern Shore or across the Bay Bridge where a female-fronted modern pop-rock cover band would fit. Any chance any of you can point me to some decent venues that don't require us to take the Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel or don't require affiliation with S.E. (agency) to get booked? Points east of I-95 would be preferred. Friday work schedules are a problem for a couple of us, so it'd probably have to be within a two hour drive from Salisbury, MD.If no one here can help, that's fine. I just figure it can't hurt to ask. The bassist told me last night at practice that he's having trouble getting anything booked. I think all the club owners are panicking over this "fiscal cliff" bull{censored}.
