Members Potts
The background....The person this article refers to is the band-leader of a hugely popular band that has made it through 25-30 players in the past 15 years. They not only play all the bigger clubs, they've captured the market with all the municipalities, churches that hold huge lawn fetes, and anyone doing major fundraisers. They command great money all while having no image whatsoever. I'm not a huge fan of dressing alike and {censored}, but this band's "look" is horrible. At any rate....read the article AND THE COMMENTS (they're the best part). If everyone brings one comment to this thread- it should be a learning experience that could fill 20 pages. lol http://www.metrowny.com/news/359-Village_changes_up_Fourth_of_July_lineup_Hit_N_Run_not_included_.html
Members nousername
I found their website just to see what all the hype was about. NO sound or video samples to be found. Had to search on the youtube. This wasn't horrible. No Les Paul...
Members wesg
Alright, which one of you trolls started the cover band vs. originals band debate in there? I think I'm going to post something over there about shorts and music stands.

Members SpaceNorman
That was one seriously hilarious read Potts! I can only imagine the amount of inbreeding that goes on in a town that would entertain this as an issue at a town meeting!
Members StratGuy22
The bass player should wear it a little higher. They sound pretty good. The singer looks kinda douchy
Members xibgroup
Hi Bania: Why do they call it Ovaltine? The mug is round; the jar is round... they should call it Roundtine. (pauses) That's gold, Jerry! Gold! Members Potts
The comments are the best part of the article. I'd imigine they're either from every musician in Buffalo or just the 25+ ex-bandmates.

Stay together long enough, work your ass off to build a reputation and connections in a market, and things like look and image matter less.At the same time, if there is any truth to the comments in that link, it seems these guys have been riding on their reputation for a long time now and maybe have been doing a bit too long.It seems there's a couple of these bands in every market---the "I can't believe these guys still get hired for everything" band. Yep. There are a few in my area too. There is one that has been around for 20+ years, constant line-up changes and everything... Many msuicians groan when you hear their name but this band can back it ALL up. They are still VERY good at what they do, nice people and they have a really nice draw. Sometimes its just jealousy.
