Members tlbonehead
It has potential if you knock some of of the glitz off of it and rough it up a little.

Members joshmac
When do you think this tune will take off? Haven't heard about it around my parts. Cool song, would be really easy to work up and try. edit: she was on Ellen recently, noticed that means something usually haha
Members SLScott86
I love me some depressing music, but I agree as well. You've got to keep people there, so you've gotta keep them awake, so it helps to keep them active. I have to check myself on this quite a bit. Certainly reflective and containing thought. I mean look at all the bands still having great success as cover bands doing AIC, PJ, STP, Gin Blossoms, Counting Crows, etc. Lots of thought-provoking stuff in there. Many times if we throw a song like BLACK out on a whim it packs the floor. Or for more uptempo, LIE TO ME always goes over well and is hardly a shiny-happy song. It just depends. There is no SINGLE correct way of succeeding.
Members Vito Corleone
It's not just the lyrics that might make any song depressing or up beat. It's how it fits with the music. Something like AIC works (when it does) because of the aggressive groove rather than what the lyrics are. This girl's songs seem more "lyric forward" than music first
