Members ski219 Posted February 22, 2016 Members Share Posted February 22, 2016 So we got word Friday evening when a friend called the venue to make reservations for Saturday that we had been cancelled. Nice of the place to let us know. I was disappointed because I really wanted to play last weekend and this was a large room that payed pretty well. Our singer, who is a salesman and books 90% of our gigs, got on the phone and had us booked for Saturday within a few hours. A nice place we had played at once before and a good sized room as well. With all the facebook chatter and the fact that this was a more popular place it was packed and we had a blast! We took a bit of a pay cut but had a great time. We had 3 more gigs on the books at the room that cancelled us without telling us and we have cancelled them. Not sure if we told them that yet.
