Got this on the crackbook this morning: This is the weirdest thing that you've heard all day but the bar that were supposed to play at in ottawa burned down yesterday so there is no gig Gotta admit, that was a first for me. My first ever PA made it through a rehearsal space fire. It was a Traynor something or the other. Tolex got a little melted but the head and speakers worked fine. IIRC it was started by our (volunteer) soundman's cigarette that fell into a couch. I also recall a club that was fire bombed because apparently someone in the club wouldn't play nice with the powers that be - no not the government or the police, but the other powers that be. Put a stop to bands until they rebuilt. Unfortunately, the music never really took off again after that, and it's all canned stuff now. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
