Members TrickyBoy
Even acoustically, people love it. I think we did 5 of her tunes Friday night.
Members StratGuy22
Nice! As a band we are "too old" to pull off any T-Swizzle. Same reason we don't attempt any One a Direction either.
Members TrickyBoy
Pffft. I agree about One Direction. WE think that's to teenie boppery (if that's a word). But T. Swift gets the 50 year olds going! Everyone loves T Swift!
Members WynnD
Used to refer to music aimed at Tweens as Bubble Gum. James Peterick had a small solo in the middle of the Ides of March act where he talked about Bubble Gum music and then said he didn't do other people's Bubble Gum, he wrote his own and did a song called Bit Of Honey. Very funny.

Members Vito Corleone
LOL we do "what makes you beautiful" by one direction. it works well for us and i always get out of the guys that we catch singing along to it' date=' whether they know they are or not[/quote'] Yeah, I have a hard time seeing where that song is any more teeny-boppery than TS and, in my experience anyway, works just as well with the same audiences for pretty much the same reasons. My drummer keeps insisting we need to mash it up with "Summer Lovin'", but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on that idea yet. Not 100% sure the kids who like WMYB will know SL. But I could be wrong on that?
