Members FitchFY
I've been doing a drummer blog for a few months now, and firgured I hit upon a topic that would be worth discussing in BSTWB: I put up a 3-part blog over the past two weeks around my audition process for a band called Snake Oil Caravan. They're super fun guys and were totally cool with letting me share all the little details; apparently they were reading it to see where my head was at with the band. Talk about transparency! Anyway, thought I'd share this with the forum since I think it's something many of us go through with auditions -- after you know you like the music, what are the factors that make you want to join a band? We're talking originals here -- we know you're not making much money. www.FitchDrums.wordpress.com Check out the posts titled "Buying Snake Oil." There's countless factors for me, but it was fun to put them into words and have to quantify it. I'd welcome the thoughts and experiences you guys have had on similar notes! Members Guitar Slim
Fun read. Always good to remember that an audition, interview, etc goes both ways.
