Members Cougar Hunter
so I have the version B 2.0. the tube 2 has been a bit too gainy and rough lately. I was starting to miss my triaxis. I turned on tube 1 channel and turned the gain to about 120. It sounds like a cross between Vai's Fire Garden and the harmonized Master of Puppets solo. Unbelievable. I'm dying to get done with work and go home to play it. smooth as silk with sustain and everyhting. This is the coolest preamp ever. Too bad they came out during grunge and retailed for $2000+ This is going to be a vintage classic someday.

HAHAHAHA it's funny, if you touch the button while it's on 90, it jumps to 127 pretty quickly. like midi digits.

Members Word Bearer
Yeah, I've actually been meaning to play around more with Tube 1. At first it didn't really seem all that appealing and useful, and that Tube 2 would be where I'd find all decent high gain tones. But after messing around a little with this one, I can seen a lot of potential now, tho I feel it may be worth investing in a TS-9 or OD-1, just too see what else I can get.
