Members bigfatskinny
I used this last night at a gig and it sounded horrible to me...... Set up HD Pro into and Peavey IPR3000 Power Amp into a Mesa 2 X 12...........coming out of the HD Pro unbalanced left and right outputs into the a and b channel of the peavey into the Mesa.....also have the shot board foot pedal........as far as patches I just used the stock patches......should the cabs and mics be turned off? Thanks
Members kit_strong
The stock presets are kind of lame IMO so to get the best tones start from scratch. Also the stock presets do indeed all have full amp/cabinet emulation and are not going to sound all that great through that setup. I would build patches from scratch using just preamp models and making sure the can and mic emulation is off. Not sure if it should be set fit amp or line level output. Members kit_strong
Ok, after taking a quick peak at the power amp you have you can probably leave amp emulation on too but definitly turn off cabinet emulation.
