Members Magic_Raisinets
I picked up a single Robe Scan 1200xt fixture at a local store for 700 bucks (5,000 new) as they thought it was broken. (They didn't run it on 220 mains) I got it working and it's a hell of a light. Absolutely beautiful. However, I would love a partner or two for it. I currently am using a couple of Martin Roboscan 1220CMY fixtures along with it as my big intels. Here's the the thing though:Almost all of the fixture paneling says that the light is an Elation-brand light using the same model name as Robe's fixture. Based on pictures and asking around, it turns out that it is in fact a Robe light. I asked Elation about this model, and they said that it was never made. Does anybody have any idea as to why this light says it an Elation but Elation never made this model? It doesn't really matter much. I know it's a Robe. But I am interested to see why it appears the way it does.
Members NVProductions
You may also check into MBT believe it or not. They two made fixtures using the "robe" prefix.
Members soundlight
Robe manufactures the fixture. Elation bought numerous fixtures from Robe over the years, as did Coemar and several other manufacturers. Robe is the source of the fixtures; it's funny because now Robe sells Elation controllers. Goes both ways!
