Members Red Hawk Posted March 10, 2013 Members Share Posted March 10, 2013 I have some third-hand truss with 1.5" tube. I need to buy 6 O-clamps to mount some light bars to it. Unfortunately the only ones I can find anywhere are the plastic ADJ ones. I don't use plastic on stage for anything, let alone lights that will fall on my drums or myself if they fall. I'm considering trying the Global Truss 1 1/3" clamps, but i don't want to have to crush my truss to get the tension i need. Are there 1 1/2" metal clamps out there? It seems like centerstage lighting had a wide variety of clamps, but who knows what happened to them... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members Red Hawk Posted March 10, 2013 Author Members Share Posted March 10, 2013 Yeah, due to the kind of unique way I'm setting up my lights, and some very tight spacing issues, O-clamps are required. I tried 8 C clamps, but they way they are offset makes it impossible to rotate the lights side to side, which is kind of important. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
