A lot of times they will flicker on video, especially when dimmed, which is why they only show them at full on during demo videos - and not doing a smooth fade of intensity. They will also often over-drive the LEDs resulting in much shorter LED life. If you can afford them, the Chauvet Intimidator Spot 255 is a nice little light with decent punch that has rotating gobos and a static prism. Manual focus, but that's what you get at that price range, and since it's only got one gobo wheel motorized focus isn't as important. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
