Members mstreck
I am having a heck of a time getting fixtures to stay in place on the top bar. It seems like the duratruss clamps are for good hanging - but not for positioning. Is there something I can do to make the clamps grab better? I would LOVE to be able to mount my spot duos on the top bar to make them the highest fixtures in my setup. Sorry if this is a stupid question. My old truss was hollow pipe that was easy to "bite" into. This new truss is quite solid in comparison. I'm not sure what I can safely do to make this work. Thank you!!! Members StratGuy22
Chauvet CLP-10 clamps have inserts. 1" 1.5" 2" The 1" ones might work.
Members mstreck
Thanks! The bar is 1/2 inch - really making me scratch my head, because i can't find any o-clamps that size. A friend of mine suggested coating the inside of the dura clamp with plasti-dip to give it some "grip". I may try that.

Members mstreck
I may be able to fabricate something that will hold them in place. I was hoping there might be an easier way. :/
Members Bill.ESC
A wrap or two of electricians friction tape will eliminate the slip.
Members mstreck
Thanks, Bill! Is there any chance of the tape slipping?

Members mstreck
Nope. Thank you! That's good to know. They are pretty heavy (and expensive).
