So, Parts Express is selling lights now. The "brand" is Talent, which is a Chinese vendor that at least seems to make half-decent mic cables.

I got a nice four lens moonflower at MCMELECTRONICS.com for a hundred clams. I consider them and parts express to be pretty comparable, though I always find myself, the last two years, anyway, pulling the trigger on MCM stuff. Price was part of it, but also they just seemed to have the item in the particular flavor I wanted.

They've been selling them a long time.

I have found a China site that sells units direct.

You have to dig awhile but you can find some low cost LED and Laser stuff here.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like Parts Express, but they are VERY expensive to ship to Canada. It is much cheaper to ship from China, as I don't mind waiting 3 weeks to get stuff.

 

I'm also going to check out that mcmelectronics.com place. Their shipping might be more reasonable than PE.

 

Hey, EasyListener, will that MoonFlower provide some excitement to an otherwise unadorned dance floor? I'm thinking something that's about 15x20 and close to the lighting tree.
