best place to put these effects in vocal chain

is this over kill for vocals

and what order do place these in if you are using for vocals?

I'd put the MPX-100 on an aux send and bring it back to a channel (or pair).

The compressor, I'd insert in the two channels that need it most, for me thats usually bass guitar, and especially vocals. You can use them in a subgroup also, but the loudest signal will dicate how much compression is happening, so if you have all of your vocals through it, you may lose a quiet singer.

 

The EQ I'd put in a main insert, or between the mixer and your crossover if you do't have main inserts.

 

If this is going into the vocal channel itself put the effect unit in an aux, then put the comp and eq in the channel insert in that order.
