Members D Aussie
Does such an animal exist? Im having to read music for my current gig, and Im feeling claustrophobic with a mic stand, upright bass and music stand. Is there some doodie that hangs off a mic stand that can hold sheet music? If I could get that.. do you reckon I could get ahold of something to hold my beer too? Like a cup holder, but one that hangs off a mic stand. Members J the D
I don't have the fancy setup but have the same (upright) problem you do. My mike stand had a gooseneck, not a boom. I set it up behind the music stand and have the gooseneck over the top of the music stand. That way when I orient myself to the music stand so I can read the music, the mike is in the perfect position. I leave my beer on the floor when it is not in my hand so it has less distance to go when I spill it.
Members cckmp
From memory.. the Pro Audio catalogue from last year included a number of mike stand attachments. I certainly remember a glass/cup holder. Couldn't see it on the web but you can order a catalogue. Pro Audio are in Canberra. http://proaudio.com.au
