Members ulrichsd
Is there any problem with using monitors as mains? As long as they are pole-mountable and I don't mind the look, are there any differences in sound? Thanks,Scott
Members Scodiddly
Nope, as long as you're aware of the limitations there's no problem. They're just speakers shaped and tuned a bit differently.
Members Roadkill
If you are talkin' about a cab that is available as both a "main" cab and a "monitor" cab, the monitor version often has a bit less internal volume and might not go as low as the "main" version. One of the posters here advocates your first set of mains being cabs that can be used as monitors later when you "upgrade" and I think that is a great idea!
